Turrón de Alicante is one of the most famous Spanish turrons, originating from the Alicante and Jijona region , where this sweet is made according to ancient recipes.
The product has a crispy texture and light color because the almonds are roasted and fortified with a honey and sugar mass , covered with thin wafer sheets .
